This original elephant pin / pendant was created in studio of Manuel Porcayo of Taxco. Manuel Procayo frequently creates designs featuring animal and plant life with stone inlays. He has won awards in the past in national jewelry design competitions in Mexico. Prior to the establishment of his own studio, he was a silversmith at the Los Castillo studios of Taxco, Mexico.
Details:
Elephant pin / pendant is 2 3/16 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches high. Pendant weight is 0.9 ounces. Markings are "Hecho a Mano" with a handprint logo. The pin / pendant is composed of sterling silver with horn elephant tusks and shale stone inlay.
