This delicate floral sterling silver pin is from the studio of Damaso Gallegos. Prior to the establishment of his own studio "La Amatista", Gallegos had worked in the studio of Hector Aguilar. In addition to working in silver, Gallegos was also a goldsmith and produced gold pieces for the Taller Borda. Gallegos is noted in several books concerning the golden age of silver jewelry production in Taxco, Mexico.

Pin is 2 3/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches high. Weight is .5 ounces or 13 grams. Markings are "Taxco Sterling 925" "Eagle 3" "DG". The pin is composed of sterling silver and was created between 1948 & 1978.
